AM I A CANDIDATE FOR REFRACTIVE SURGERY?
All patients interested in refractive ocular surgery with FS laser must meet some minimum requirements:
- Do not suffer from an exclusionary eye disease.
- Don not suffer from systemic exclusion.
- Age over 18 years.
- Sufficient corneal thickness.
- Maximum graduation less than;
- Myopia 10Dp
- Hyperopia 5Dp
- Astigmatism 5Dp
- Pass the personal eye examination.
WHAT KIND OF OCULAR EXAMINATION IS NECESSARY TO KNOW IF I AM A CANDIDATE?
1. Study of ocular refraction.
2. Measuring the distant and near visual acuity.
3. Ocular fundus with dilated pupils.
4. Intraocular pressure.
5. Ocular motility.
6. Corneal pachymetry (central and peripheral).
7. Corneal topography.
